Good roof climbing foot apperral?

are slip resistant shoes good on a roof or would tennie shoes or boots be better, I start tomorrow and i will be installing 10-30 foot poles with a internet radio satillite dish on roofs and I just dont want to fall off a roof with a high pitch

I had purchased a pair of the Softpaw shoes locally about a year ago. The shoes are very comfortable and wear well. I%26#039;m on my feet all day on a cement floor so I need something that%26#039;s light weight and comfortable. This is the RIGHT choice! I%26#039;d recommend them to anyone.
Reply:If they don%26#039;t make special shoes for this purpose, the best shoes that I%26#039;ve ever found for high angle hiking on rocks and other smooth surfaces are those %26quot;approach shoes%26quot; ith the %26quot;sticky rubber%26quot; soles. Check these out:

Reply:Depends on what typ or roof it is but, an aproach shoe with stealth rubber will probably work. I would recomend the Five-ten Insight for men. the rubber on these is almost as sticky as climbing shoes and they give great support. And PS dont use crampons thats a bad idea
