To kill a mocking bird HELPPP PLEASEE?

Explain what jem and scout learn about themselves and the society in which they live. how do they learn? what do they learn... i have...

Atticus teaches Jem and Scout one the most valuable lessons they learn. That lesson is that “in order to understand someone, you have to get into their shoes and climb into their skin to understand them” Scout learned not to judge people based on appearances and first impressions. There are many instances where Scout has to climb into people’s skin to understand them. When Walter Cunningham comes to eat lunch at the Finch’s house, Atticus also teaches them that it is a sin to kill mockingbirds. It is wrong to kill them because “ all they do is make music”

i need how scout and jem learn about prejeuce and their society and how mrs. dubose and boo radley teach them too

To kill a mocking bird HELPPP PLEASEE?
I will guide you only. I think you have made a great start, but I think you really need to look at the trial scenes (especially Atticus%26#039; impassioned speech for letting Tom go) as well as Bob Ewell%26#039;s basic attitudes (which the children witness).

Other valuable lessons you might consider that the kids learn (and I%26#039;m sure if you think about it, you can find them):

1) violence is not a good solution when one is faced with a challenging/potentially dangerous situation

2) Sometimes it%26#039;s best to leave well enough alone, rather than to create MORE problems.
Reply:Ok, think of Mrs.Dubose and why she said all that mean stuff about Atticus....that should give you your prejudice answer. And think about how people talk about boo and how everyone is afraid of him. If you cant answer how he and mrs dubose teach scout about racism....you really need to reread the book.
Reply:wow.... sorry to sound so negative but....READ THE BOOK!! its great....i think its one of the best books ive ever read. and, besides, homework q%26#039;s like that r just stupid.
Reply:My original post: It is clear that you did not read this book at all and you should be ashamed of yourself for coming on here taking the easy way out. If I were you teacher, I would give you an F on your homework!

Now, I know you did not read the book and this crap is do tomorrow isn%26#039;t? If you are planning to go to College or University, how the heck are you going to manage with these kind of study habits? Let this be a lesson to you to do the work early.
