Climbing Shoes?
There are many good brands of climbing shoe but the most important thing is to get something that fits well to your foot. Some comppanies make shoes that are too narrow for some peoples%26#039; feet, etc. The best thing to do is shop around, try on the shoes (use them on a climbing wall in the store if possible - REI often has these) and make sure they fit snugly and dont rub on different parts of your feet. You may be able to order different colors of the model you pick, but it%26#039;s more important to pick a good shoe first, then go for looks after.
Reply:Something that feesl comfy. WHATEVER YOU DO: don%26#039;t listen to climbing morons (usually sport climbers) who swear by ultra tight shoes. These are the people who climb a 25m route, and then rip their shoes off as soon as they get to the ground, because they are in so much pain. You will climb much better if you%26#039;re not in pain!!!

In my opinion, type of shoes doesn%26#039;t make a big difference, as long as the edge isn%26#039;t worn down too much.

Oy yeah, stay away from Bufo%26#039;s, I trashed a pair in jus a few weeks! (too bad i liked them, and cheap!)
Reply:pls try the ASOLO stingray shoes its the 1 that has editors choice award in backpacking ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Reply:The best thing I could suggest is go in to your local climbing gym , or Rei.. Outlet.. Try them on before you buy them.. You dont want them real loose fitting either . or try this site, www.upperlimits.com
Reply:i went rockclimbing in Taos new mexico it was really fun ill warn you that some can be 150$ my guide was from a company called mountain skills find their website and maybe email them
Reply:dude, there%26#039;s too many styles and brands to tell which one you need without knowing what kind of climbing you%26#039;ll be doing MOST of the time. try these links and do some research, you%26#039;ll learn about fit, rubber types, lace up vs. velcro, everything. happy climbing.

personally, I like 5.10%26#039;s and lace up style, and I do a mix of indoor/outdoor, but mostly indoor.
