There is supposedly some shoe attachment to aid in climbing steep roofs but I don%26#039;t the name to search for them. I thought they were called %26quot;cat paws%26quot; but did not find the right device using this as a search name.

roofing brackets nail down and you put a timber across them like a scaffold

Reply:If you have to, use a rope, otherwise you can use metal staging brackets that nail into the roof. Lace up your shoes tight.
