What do you think of my Poem, I ask this in the religious section because I appreciate your thoughts?

Fall Foliage

Fall is in the Air

Air that is abundant with Childhood memories

Memories that bring back thoughts of Apple bobbing

Apples that fell from my Grandfathers Ochard trees

Tree's where me and my Brother climbed

Climbed up a rock hill were I fell while my brother laughed

Laughter that stopped when he passed

Passed to a better place a place where Heaven is always Fall

Fall where my Grandmother would trip over the old linoleum floor in her kitchen

Kitchen where she would make my favorite Blackberry cobbler each Thanksgiving Dinner

Dinner where all my family were Happy and Cheerful

Cheerful despite the the pain and suffering we experienced being poor

Poor wearing Bread sacks over my shoes to protect my feet from the Snow

Snow that made my life hard while I feed the Cattle while it brightened my spirit by it's beauty

Beauty my Mother baking Aapple pies while weeping that my father's love was gone

Gone but not lost is my memories of Fall and Love

Love of my family and loved ones that have passed

Passed is summer and Fall brings back wonderful memories of Love

Love that I give to all that I encounter

Encountering a fall filled with love

It's wonderful and very evocative; it made me cry. Excellent and right from your heart. You paint pictures with your words. You should be very proud. Thank you for sharing.
Reply:If this is your first poem you must continue with it; you have a real flair and talent for emotions and pictures through your words; you have the ability to touch people and that is a rare gift. Report It

Reply:Now that is something I love. I have read some pretty weird and ridiculous things before so it is lovely to read something special - full of personal experiences and happy memories. You should read it out loud to your family at thanksgiving.

Well done.
Reply:I am from apple and snow country. And I grew up doing farm work. My family was poor. Iid the bread sack thing, but I ended up with freezing feet, in my old worn sneakers. Welso had alot of hills, rocks and all that. Were we neighbors?
Reply:looking forward to the holidays ,are we?!
Reply:I have to be honest after all you did post this in the religious section.Well hear goes it didn't really flow in the best way,but i have to say i could feel the emotion.I think that putting your feelings in writing is good therapy.By the way i was raised in a place similar to the place in your poem.I now live in the middle east in a desert so i really miss both Autumn and winter along with many memories of a time i took for granted.I don't think your poem will win an award but if it makes you feel good that's reward enough.
